The End of the World

The Rapture

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together in the cloudsw to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” — 1 Thesalonians 4:16-17

“And as ity is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” — Hebrews 9:27

The end of the world is coming in your lifetime…so to speak. In your lifetime you will either hear the trumpet and be caught up to meet Jesus in the air, or you will die and face God in judgment.

The question is not, “Will it end?” or “When will it end?” but “How will it end?” It all comes back to Jesus and the new birth.

If you have experienced the life-changing power of His forgiveness and grace, it can only end well for you. When the rapture takes place you will go to be with Jesus forever.

If you have never been changed by the power of the resurrected Christ, then your end will bring judgment and eternal separation from the presence of God in a place called Hell. The trumpet’s sound will bring terror and tribulation to your life and an eternity without Christ and without hope.

Either way, our time here is as short as our last breath. Christian, don’t waste time, kill time, spend time or lose time! We must redeem the time and invest the time in things that matter most…people. We must tell them, love them, warn them and win them until our time is up!
